With a master’s degree in applied psychology from Regis University and licensure as an Addiction Counselor in Colorado, Stefan brings a wealth of expertise to his role. His extensive experience encompasses various roles in addiction recovery, including recovery coach, therapist, and program director. Stefan is particularly adept at designing and implementing treatment and recovery support programs, empowering individuals to cultivate meaningful and sustainable recoveries. Originally from Northern Iowa, Stefan relocated to Colorado to pursue psychology studies at the University of Denver. After a stint in the banking industry, Stefan embarked on his personal recovery journey in 2007, laying the foundation for his subsequent career in addiction treatment. With a master’s degree in applied psychology from Regis University and licensure as an Addiction Counselor in Colorado, Stefan brings a wealth of expertise to his role. His extensive experience encompasses various roles in addiction recovery, including recovery coach, therapist, and program director. Stefan is particularly adept at designing and implementing treatment and recovery support programs, empowering individuals to cultivate meaningful and sustainable recoveries. Recognized as an industry leader and public speaker, Stefan is well-versed in the open community model of care and integrated care approaches. He currently serves as the Board Chair for Mind Springs Health, a leading community healthcare organization offering counseling and therapy services for mental, behavioral, and emotional wellness. Outside of his professional endeavors, Stefan finds solace and rejuvenation in the natural splendor of the Rocky Mountains. He cherishes moments spent with his wife and their two children, Allison and Christopher, embracing the beauty and serenity of Colorado’s landscape.
