Home Rehab for Men in Colorado Transitional Treatment The Graduate Program

At Jaywalker’s Independent Living residences, men embark on the final steps of their recovery journey within our continuum of care. Conveniently situated directly across the street from our primary care program in Carbondale, Colorado, our independent living residences provide the necessary support for our men to launch into life. This phase marks a critical transition toward a life free from active addiction and towards self-sufficiency, all while staying engaged in the recovery community and being of service of others.

Independent living provides individuals with a sense of autonomy and empowerment, allowing them to take ownership of their recovery journey and make decisions that align with their personal goals and values. Additionally, living independently fosters a greater sense of responsibility and accountability, as individuals learn to manage their own daily routines, finances, and household tasks.

Independent living offers individuals the opportunity to practice and reinforce the coping skills and strategies learned during treatment in a real-world setting. This allows for a smoother transition from the structured environment of treatment to the challenges of everyday life, helping to build confidence and resilience along the way. Living independently also facilitates greater social integration and community engagement, as individuals have the freedom to interact with others outside of treatment settings and participate in activities and events that support their recovery goals. This sense of connection and belonging can be instrumental in maintaining sobriety and building a strong support network. Overall, independent living in the recovery process provides individuals with the space, freedom, and resources they need to continue their journey towards long-term sobriety and overall well-being.

The Graduate Program (TGP) incorporates the best practices in recovery research to maximize the upside of recovery. This program is for clients who are excelling in their recovery and want a little more time in the Jaywalker community. Men who have been accepted into The Graduate Program have access to the following services:
