In partnership with Colorado Mountain College (CMC), Jaywalker U provides a safe and structured environment for sober students to fully reintegrate into a college life based on the principles of recovery. In addition to taking classes at CMC, students at JWU have the opportunity to experience a variety of classes on philosophy and addiction, interpersonal communication, cooking classes, Wilderness Advanced First Aid, Mental Health First Aid, and weekly outdoor outtings.

Stefan Bate, BA, MA, LAC holds a Master's Degree in Applied Psychology from Regis University and is a Licensed Addiction Counselor in the state of Colorado. Stefan has wide-ranging experience in the field of addiction recovery including: working as a recovery coach, therapist, and program director.
