Residential Technician: David Santini

David was born and raised just outside Boston, Massachusetts, where he attended St. Johns Preparatory.

After high school, in 1997 David began college at Northeastern University. He cut his collegiate endeavors short to join the United States Marine Corps in 2000. While serving David completed his required classes and received his Bachelors Degree from Northeastern University, in criminal Justice.

David served six years total with the Marines both here and abroad before being discharged in 2006. Sick and tired of his substance abuse getting in the way of him living a full and happy life, David decided to get sober in 2006 by attending Hazelden, MN and then transitioning to Jaywalker Lodge in April 2007 for extended care where he learned what the joy of living truly meant and has been sober since.

He is newly married and expecting his first child, a boy. Along with working at Jaywalker he is a local fly-fishing guide and casting instructor. In the winter he enjoys skiing the surrounding mountains with his friends in recovery.
