After struggling with alcoholism and drug addiction for many years, Kjell came to Jaywalker Lodge in March of 2008 and has been clean and sober ever since. He enjoys skiing, rock climbing, golfing and hockey as well as spending quality time with other recovering alcoholics and addicts.
Since moving to the Roaring Fork Valley, Kjell has established a new way of life for himself based on the spiritual principles of the 12 Steps. Kjell is working towards his Certified Addiction Counseling license in hopes of becoming an addictions counselor in the future.
