Jaywalker Lodge - Admissions Criteria

Jaywalker Lodge asks that each client commit to a minimum of 90 days; although for some clients, a longer length of stay may be indicated for maximum therapeutic benefit. The appropriate Jaywalker candidate is a male, 23 years or older; he is motivated to recover and willing to follow directions. Typically, clients have had previous failed recovery attempts. Many have a basic understanding for the 12 Step Program. We accept those with a concurrent mental health condition if it does not preclude their ability to follow Program expectations (for program details, see menu to left).

Clients must be active and healthy enough to participate in various mountain wilderness activities. All candidates will undergo a pre-admission assessment interview/exercise.
