IOP Jazz Night
The Intensive Outpatient (IOP) Men head to Aspen this past weekend to see the Preservation Hall Jazz Band play at the Wheeler Opera House. This was a good way for the IOP men to practice open-mindedness in trying new things. The Jaywalker men have always been known for their athletics and more and more Jaywalker is opening their minds to new things. Buckley B, MIOP Clinician, stated, “This wasn’t the guy’s first choice but after going into it with an open mind, they thoroughly enjoyed themselves. It may even be something that the guys want to continue doing.” Just another way the Jaywalker Programs are trying to help its men find their true passions in life.

Can I go next time ???
As a member of JayWalker’s MIOP I attended this concert and it was a blast! I’ve gotten back into jazz music after being sober for a while as I was a jazz musician before alcohol became priority number one. I loved the concert and as Buckley said, even those who did not think they would like it were standing up, dancing, and singing as the Preservation Hall Jazz Band closed with “As The Saints Go Marching In”. A wonderful night to remember.
