One of the biggest issues families face when it comes to getting help for their loved ones, is figuring out how they will pay for treatment. In fact, not being able to afford treatment is one of the biggest reasons why those in need don’t receive help for their addiction.

At Jaywalker Lodge, we understand your financial needs and concerns. We work hard to get the maximum benefits and coverage for our clients and their families. Our clients are our number one priority – which is why we will negotiate funding in some circumstances. We will do our best to get your or your loved one the help they need.

If you are someone that has private insurance, the good news is that many insurance plans have benefits for addiction treatment. To learn more about what your insurance plan covers, or the Jaywalker program, contact us at 866.529.9255 (toll free) or 970.704.9292 to have an admissions coordinator verify your policy benefits.

Many insurance plans do have out of network benefits that can cover some of the cost of treatment service. They will even cover the assessment for the severity of your addiction as well as preventative care. However, not all providers cover extensive inpatient treatment.

A deductible is the amount of money you are responsible for paying out of pocket before your insurance coverage covers the cost. This amount varies in relation to your specific plan. In most cases, more expensive plans offer lower deductibles.

Each of our clients are entirely unique and receive specialized care for their specific situation. In some cases, treatment programs may last a few weeks, others may last several months. The number of days each insurance carrier will authorize depends on your individual journey.

If your policy has out of network substance abuse benefits then yes, Jaywalker will work with your insurance carrier to get as many days authorized as possible.

Jaywalker Lodge is considered out-of-network for all insurance providers. What that means is that we have not agreed to accept the negotiated rate set by our clients’ insurance providers.

Yes, our admissions coordinators will assist you with a verification. The insurance verification process does not require any commitment to Jaywalker and there is no cost for this service. We will verify your insurance policy, discuss the benefits and cost with you directly prior to any admission.

No, at this time, Jaywalker Lodge is not set up to work with Medicare or Medicaid.

The Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare, was signed into law in March 2010 in order to make health insurance more affordable and accessible. In addition to making health insurance easily accessible, the Affordable Care Act also helped expand the Medicaid program.

For those dealing with substance abuse and addiction, the Affordable Care Act has made it so our clients cannot be denied insurance coverage, no matter what pre-existing conditions they may have, including substance abuse disorder and mental health conditions.

With affordable healthcare insurance being more accessible than ever, so is addiction treatment. Clients who may not have had access to health insurance in the past can now come to Jaywalker Lodge knowing they can get the help that they need while also using their out-of-network benefits.

The Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act ensures that insurance providers must offer the same level of care for mental health conditions and substance use disorders as they do for other medical concerns.
